Variety by the Sea!
A live
variety cabaret show with a special line up from the best of the
British cabaret scene
You can now book a complete live variety show with top
performers and a medley of amazing acts. Variety by
the Sea has produced eight sell out shows in different venues in
South West England in the last year. The show, comprising 10
performers (including its own production manager) lasts roughly
2 hours including a 15 minute interval. It features live
music, illusionists, acrobats, jugglers,
weird and wonderful routines and most importantly
lots of laughs!
All the acts are headliners in their own specialities and the
levels of skill and quality of entertainment are truly superb.
The company is very adaptable with a wealth of material to
choose from.
Your show can also feature one or two guest spots, where
you can book a speciality act that have already worked
with Variety By the Sea, like performance painter Jon Hicks, or
a star name or local group.
The name of your show can be customised to your venue or
seasonal activities. These are examples from the last year:
• Variety by the Sea at The Manor Pavilion Theatre, which is a
290 seat venue in Sidmouth, where six totally different sell out
shows have been produced in the last year.
• A one night special called Variety by the Exe as part of the
Exeter Summer Arts Festival. The sell-out show at the Barnfield
Theatre, a 300 seat venue, was one of the fastest selling of the
festival.
• Variety by the Moor was the lead show of the Hatherleigh Arts
Festival in Dartmoor. The show sold out and was performed to an
audience of 250 sat in cabaret style seating.
The show can be tailored to your town and venue, for
instance, it could include a silent movie at the beginning with
shots of your theatre and local landmarks.
We can send you a DVD showing clips from previous shows, and an
example of one of the custom black and white films featuring
local landmarks, and stills of the variety of acts available,
along with a short biog of each of the performers, some reviews
of previous productions and typical publicity material.
