HOOPs, the Australian Women’s Hoop Squad, is an interactive comedy street show jam-packed with highly skilled hula hoop tricks, iconic Olympic music, and a whole lot of heart.
Join the girls on their hooptastic journey as they show you just what it takes to get to the Olympics, from 1 giant hoop through to the ribcrushing 50 hoop stack.
The show finishes with the opportunity for everyone in the audience to have a go and see for themselves how fun
it is to spin a hoop.
Travels with Granddad is a delightful family show featuring a delightful puppet - Granddad an eccentric traveler and storyteller extraordinaire who enthralls the audience with magical tales of adventures in real and imaginary worlds. The audience is invited to gather by a beautiful Bedouin tent from which sounds of exotic countries and the faint sound of snoring can be heard. The curtains mysteriously open to reveal Granddad sleeping amongst his wonderful and bazaar objects collected from his adventures. Once awake Granddad retells three magical tales using evocative sound, light, objects and exquisite puppets to illustrate his stories. After the performance the audience is invited to help him remember some more stories with the aid of his souvenirs collected on his travels. New objects will be added to Granddad's tent with an athletic theme, maybe an old pair of running shoes, an ancient Olympic torch or even an egg and spoon from the famous Olympic egg and spoon
race.

The Olympic Swimming Lifeguards
With all the investment and effort put into the Olympics it would be a tragedy if some thoughtless “petting” ruined it for everyone….
Perched on their high chairs the lifeguards attempt to stop any running, jumping or acrobatics. Couples caught “light petting” will be severely admonished. In fact only sensible lane swimming and synchronised strolling is permitted by our “Speedo clad warriors” on a mission to keep the fun out of sport.
The Tennis Olympic Finals – Anyone For Tennis?
Following a double booking at Wimbledon the Olympic Tennis finals will have to be staged at your event ! Luckily members of the audience help out filling in for ball boys, physiotherapists and even Royalty. The thrilling match includes slow motion replays; heated line calls and live comic commentary. In the end, somehow…Andy Murray always wins ,and everyone goes home happy!
